Localizable.strings

I have the file encoding set in Preferences of Xcode to UTF-8.
I have recreated the Localizable.strings files and ensured that they are
UTF-8 encoded.
The strings appear correctly in Xcode, however now when I compile and run
the application, the strings are not being correctly represented in the web
page.  This surely must be a small error.

Can anyone help?
