Hello all,

I am also really interseted in this topic, because I ran into exactly the same problem when deploying on Solaris: foreign chars such as eacute appear as ? in the web page. The file encoding is set to ISO Latin for Mac. So first I thought that's the reason. Therefore I moved my whole application to UTF-8. On Macos X everything went fine, but on Solaris I got strange charachters instead.
I am Wonder-ing ;) which file encoding I should use on Solaris then. What is the equivalent to ISO Latin Mac on UNIX?

Cheers,

Jean-Marc Borer
