Is it possible to use Direct2Web in a custom built application?
Yes. Simply add the frameworks you'd add when creating a D2W app with the PBX wizard and have a look at MenuHeader.java to see an example on how to create pages - or the BugTracker app in Project Wonder.

How would all the D2W changes be reflected in my EObjects?
If you mean "do my model changes automagically get recognized" - partly, if you mean "if I edit an EO in a page, will the changes be saved" - of course.

and Is there a way to have it save a users query?
Yes. Have a look at ERD2WQueryPage from Project Wonder.

Cheers, Anjo
