Pierre,
The test case fetches an existing object and attempts to change it.
Saving the changes fails over vaildation. The code then attempts to
delete the changed object.
This is indeed not how I usually do it in my code, but a collegue's code
extending Direct2Web does behave that way. IMHO this should work.

I don't understand your test case very well. Why delete the object you
should refault it? You are trying to delete an object from that DB that
is inconsistent with its state in the DB. I am not saying that this
should not work but it is a bit imprudent.
