This time last week there was a lot of discussions on this mailing list
complaining that Apple wasn't do a good enough job marketing WebObjects.
People were upset at the WWDC that there was no major announcement (again)
about the future of WebObjects.
LotsaCabo suggested that one of the WebObjects based CMS solutions setup a
website for the WebObjects Community to help Apple do the sales and
marketing stuff they are neglecting.
Since last week - we created a new website called WhyWebObjects.com
http://www.whywebobjects.com designed to capture information that would be
useful to people investigating the merits of WebObjects in the scope of
their next project. This is not a technical forum to ask HOW-TO questions on
development, it is focused on the WHY of WebObjects development.
Please come and visit the site. We have started a couple of discussion
threads. There is a mailing list available (email@hidden -
subscribe in the message body).
We are looking for white papers, presentations, case studies on projects etc
to add to the site. We are still getting all of the capabilities on line,
but feel free to send us your stuff to email@hidden. Thanks
