adding a .tiff image to a component description .wo

I would like to add an image to my component the way it has been done in the JavaWOExtensions
(inside the .wo package, not in the WebServer resources...)
but it's not documented (?)

using the API window seems to link to my .tiff file not copying it into the .wo package

what am i missing ?
