I did something like this, minus the HTML.

I assembled all of the objects' properties into a long string, using tabs between attributes and the "|" character between records, and bound the string to the value tag of a WOText object. The user could then select all the text, copy it, and paste it into Notepad (or any other text editor/word processor), and save it. It could then be imported as a delimited file and printed using any template. This left the layout of the labels completely open for my users to manipulate (as opposed to a PDF or CSS version).

It's a lot of steps for the user, but could be automated with a script.

In retrospect, making an excel file seems more eloquent, but also seems like more work (having never tried it though, I don't know if it really is more work).

I had to do this a while ago for a client and the quickest and easiest solution (they were a strictly Windows shop and it was an internal application) was to go into MS Word, create the mailing label template in the Avery label format they needed, export the document as HTML and then use that file as the basis for the HTML component and then wrap one of the table rows in a WORepetition and as long as the browser is IE, it should work fine. Pretty painless except it's horribly non-standard. (Beware - Word makes incredibly ugly HTML and it all needs to be in there for this to work).

I see two options for this problem:

1. Generate your page using CSS + HTML to control layout down to the pixel level. You are ~still~ at the whim of the
browser laying out your page correctly.

2. Generate a PDF of all the mailing labels. This is probably the best solution, since the PDF should print exactly as it
displays.
