BTW: I found that the JDBC driver from Microsoft not only can connect
only to SQL Server 2000 (can't connect to 7 or 6.5), but also have
major performance and bug problems. If Microsoft's driver can't work
for you, you should buy:

I'm working vigorously to make an MSDE (SQLServer for the desktop)
dbase
work as a reliable data source for a WO application. When I finally

through it I'm going to post the step-by-step to save others the
