Thanks all. I actually don't hate XCode at this point. I'm actually kind of starting to like it. :-) Hopefully at the end of this month I'll like it even more!
I just had read that MacDev article which got me thinking but it didn't have any way to build a WO app mentioned in it. Thanks for the pointers.

Hi Mike,

Of course! WOProject is a suite of Ant tasks written specifically to compile and package WebObjects applications and frameworks. It's used as the basis for WOLips to provide WO support for Eclipse, but these Ant tasks can also be used independently.

For those of us who don't hate XCode/Project Builder quite as much as some others, it's also fairly straightforward to integrate your Ant build scripts with XCode. In fact, there was just an article on macdevcenter.com about this topic:

Good luck,

Colin

Is it possible to use Ant to build WO applications? If so are there any build.xml files floating around to see what's required in buildling a WO app? I'd rather not learn JAM to figure out what is happening if possible :-)

Thanks
Mike
