There is no way I'd throw away EOF inheritance for that! YMMV

Why would I care... hmm... for some reason it bothers me. LOL. Maybe
it's
my years working with databases and indexes, etc. and having always
done

Why on earth would you care what it uses for a meaningless PK?

Hello -
I have decided that I no longer need a base class for all my
objects. I was only using it
to store date and user modification issues. However, I do not like
the large and non-consecutive
id numbers it is generating for me. The question is if I eliminate
the inheritance can webobjects
automatically reset the pk_key table with new rows for the ids?
