I presume the correct answer to this question is "it depends". It
works for me, but maybe not for everyone.
Yesterday I recompiled my app on OS X 10.3.3, WO 5.2.3, Java 1.4.2
I copied it to the server which is still running OS X 10.2.8, WO 5.2.1
and Java 1.3.1 (I think)
It has been in use for a day, no problems so far. I had to go through
and explicitly set the BigDecimal types to 'B" in EOModeler, but that
applies whether you are deploying on Panther or Jaguar.
