Owen,

From my experience the original Xcode didn't do any java completion, but the current version seems to do good stuff. Just checking what you were saying, it looks like you are right in it not completing basic Java classes. Funny, hadn't even noticed until now.

Of course, if you have entered the keyword "String" somewhere in a file's code, it will then be available when you go to enter it a second time.
