Last year I signed up for WWDC late since a lot of the WebObjects stuff
didn't show up til well after most of the initial schedule had been
posted. Not a big deal, but I missed out on the DVD set of the prior
year's ADC TV.
I had a major disappointment last year at WWDC that will keep me from
going again. Though I paid my own way, because I wasn't a student I
wasn't allowed to go to the career reception (I found this out after I
had bought my ticket). I had really hoped to interview for positions in
Southern California and would've never have put such a dent in my
wallet to go to the classes when I could get the DVD's. The icing on
the cake was that I spent two days so sick I couldn't leave the YMCA I
was staying at. Funny thing is I'm the luckiest person I know!
As far as what's normal, normal is less WebObjects stuff and posting
what there is for WebObjects late is normal. I suggest you postpone
buying your ticket until you are happy with what you know you're going
to get. That said, you don't need a BoF to get together with WebObjects
people, you just need to go to the three WebObjects sessions with an
outgoing personality ;-)

Hi All,
Was just checking up on the WWDC Conference sessions to see if there
was any new WebObjects related ones ( Nope still just the 3) and also
checked out the Birds of Feather page as well (
http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/community.html ). Now last time I went
to WWDC it was as a student had thus missed out of the BoF night as it
was the same night as the Students Party. So coming back this year I
was very much looking fwd to the WebObjects BoF night, however there
is none listed.
So my question is : Is this normal i.e over the past couple of years
has there been one ? I thought there had always been a WO BoF night.
And secondly does any one know if like the sessions this is only a
preliminary list with more to be added ( the page doesn't seem to
indicate that ) ?
Thanks
Owen
