Hello all.

After reading all the comments in the last 2 days I'm convinced to buy myself my WO license to start learning it. I've been developing on other tools and languages , not Java yet, and I have been looking the market for the tools around to choose one and learn it.

All your comments on the product are really good and convinced me that I have to switch to it. Fortunately I have the time to do it and a few simple applications for clients to develop.

For a newbie like me on this .

- What would be your advice on the steps to follow? (I have experience on ASP, PHP, VB).

I came from the generation where we read the manuals first, tried all the samples and then start trying to solve small problems with the tools/language.

- The documentations is good enough for that? (sorry if that sounds stupid)
- A good book you suggest to buy? (not enough money for courses)
- Besides the Apple site, other good resources to look and learn?
- It is enough with the environment? Or should I buy another tools? (a good editor is always your friend in the case of VB)
- What about third party tools? (in VB I had a set of good tools to save time (the one from Infragistics)
- I'd like to became familiar with the tools in the next 6-8 months and being able to develop simple applications by then. Is that unreal goal?

Thanks in advance for all your comments and for sharing your knowledge.

JB
