Thanks to Pierre and Benjamin for their answers.
Pierre, do you use Eclipse with WOLips to manage you JavaClient projects
? Could you tell me more about this ?
Thanks in advance.

We are working with JavaClient on WO 5.2.3 using Eclipse for a development environment. No problems here.
A stack trace would help. One reason for willReadRelationship to raise a NullPointerException is the EO not being inserted into an editing context. This could be a freshly created EO or one that was deleted and is still refernced by some code.

Subject: Java Client with XCode and WO5.2.3
Hi,
Just a question: does somebody already uses XCode and WO 5.2.3 to
develop Java Client applications ?
With have developed some Java Client application (with ProjectBuilder
and WO 5.2.1) for a couple of years and we are starting to test XCode
and WO 5.2.3. We have a lot of problems with our applications and the
new version: EO's and relationship problems. We tried to verify the
model but we still have errors that we can't explain.
For example:
- 'Null pointer exception' on a willReadRelationship() after a
saveChanges() on an EOEditingContext. The save changes is correct but an
exception occurs at the first access to the object.
Has someone an idea?
Thanks in advance.
