Apress maintains a list of errata for their books. I've got a query in
to them on where this gets recorded. I'll post back when I find out
where the errata will be.
log4j is starting to grow on me. While right now it feels like a
small nuisance to think about the different levels, what's going to
get logged (and where!) and what's not going to get logged, and the
new code lines to log a message, I think I will grow to appreciate it.
The possibilities that come from its flexibility make it worth
learning.
Yes, it seemed a bit cumbersome to me at first too. Now I really like
it. Time spent now will pay dividends later.
