Learning WebObjects on the cheap?

I'm interested in learning WebObjects, but I can't afford the
developer package, and I'd rather not spend a cent in learning it. :)
It's just really for curiosity's sake, since I don't plan to do it for
a living, I'd just like to learn yet another technology. :)
Does anyone have any pointers as to how I can do that?
