WO and VAS / SPNEGO?

  • Subject: WO and VAS / SPNEGO?

Hi everybody,

I am currently developing a Windows-based app where I need to provide authentication via Internet Explorer's automatic Kerberos authentication scheme (also known as SPNEGO - Simple and Protected GSS-API negotiation mechanism according to RFC 2478).

While I assume that providing such an authentication service via IIS is the less difficult part, I also need to get hold of the user credentials inside my WO application. Is this possible at all? Do I need extra software to do this?

Thanks for any hints.

Ralph
