For clarification: there are 2 different scenarios.
1. one component "page" includes a subcomponent "part"
2. one component "content" includes a wrapper component "wrapper"
1.
create component "page", create component "part" (as partial document),
in component "page" add a custom webobject "part"
2.
create component "content" as partial document, create component
"wrapper" with your custom header/footer etc. and put a
"ComponentContent" into the area where the content should go to, in the
content component, add the custom webobject "wrapper" and put your
content inside the wrapper.
Hope that helps...
Cheers,
Dirk

Hi Wes,
If you want to create a subcomponent that acts as a container, you'll
need to check out WOComponentContent. When placed in your
subcomponent,
it will allow the parent component to specify a portion of the content
within the subcomponent. Very cool.
Looking at Joshua Markers WO book, when a custom component is added it
looks like this:
* comopnent name
[area to add stuff]
*
but when I add a custom component it looks like * component name *.
There is no open area to any any other text, etc....
