Questions about Non Direct Connect

  • Subject: Questions about Non Direct Connect

Hello all, OSX/S 10.3.5, WO 5.2.3

I have one machine that always gives me crap when I set the
WODirectConnectEnabled=false in my properties file; I get "The requested
application was not found on this server" message and that's that. What do
you look for when trying to get this working? I've had other issues with
this in the past, but have never figured any of it out. I usually give up
and just continue using Direct Connect (in development, not deployment) But
now I have to do some SSL stuff and Direct Connect doesn't seem to like
that, so... This particular machine is running OSX Server, but wotaskd is
not running. I wouldn't think this should matter. Thanks for any help that
can clarify what's going on with Direct Connect vs. using the WebServer,
etc.
