Hi Owen,

The first thing that comes into my mind is Apache James. James is "a pure Java SMTP and POP3 Mail server. James is also a mail application platform." Take a look at http://james.apache.org/ to see if it may be of any help. It shouldn't be too hard to integrate James into a WO application to catch and process e-mail.

Another perhaps easier solution could be a thread that polls your POP3 server with JavaMail.
