Hi All,
We have to deploy our App onto a windows box. The client would prefer
Xp as that's what the machine came installed with.
I have heard that that can be done.
So what Im wondering how difficult is it to deploy under Xp ? Is there
a walk through somewhere ( or one someone's willing to send a copy of )
that we could use ?
Would it be best to install Apache on the box or IIS ? Im assuming
Apache :) Will WebObjects work with Apache on Windows ?
Is it then just a matter of installing Java and WebObjects ?
Are there any "gottcha's" that we should be aware of ?
Has any one tested using it under the new Service patch ?
Should we forget about Xp and grab a copy of Windows 2000 Server ?
