Isn't Objective-C still being used?
Yes, by some fortunate souls doing OS X coding or using an older
version of WO or one of the opensource EOF/WO clones out there. If you
look hard enough there are other options as well.
Or, is it just an Apple technology with a developer set of say about
the size of WebObjects?
Mostly an Apple technology now, but not exclusively.
by the way it seems as though more people are taking up WebObjects
based upon a feel I get for new members of this list.
What about all the old faces no longer around? Search the archives
from 2/3 years ago and see how many names you recognize. :-(

Now just imagine how cool this was in Objective-C where everything
was dynamically typed! No casting required.

Alright...
I finally understand the power of "valueForKey" and
"takeValueForKey". After years of setters and getters I admit I was
a bit confused. But, now I can just pass an "EOEnterpriseObject" and
not even have to worry about its Type! Very cool as I can now
re-factor even more routines and get even more efficient.
Go WebObjects Go.
Now if only Apple would invest a tiny bit more into EOModeler,
Builder and Marketing.
cheers,
