Debugging without DirectConnect... Coffee Break ?

I am trying to debug some WOApp https modules, I use the launch argument : -DWODirectConnectEnabled=false and I try to look some variables in the Debugger.. Unfortunatly the app stop running (no instance available) before I had time to check my variables.... Which additional argument I should have to take a 'coffee break' during the debugging phase and avoid this unpleasant problem ?
