Check in your root directory ("/") if there are any directories or files with "interesting" names - if they can be (temporarily?) renamed that might help.

I've just installed WO 5.2 on a fresh OSX Server 10.3.8. I've installed the application update, etc. I created the usual /Library/WebObjects/Applications with chmod 755.

Everything works properly from the command line. However, when I try to add an application via monitor, I get an error that prevents me from finding the application path. The error in the WO log says "bad XML character...". I've checked the archives but couldn't find a workable solution.

Anyone have any advice?

Jaime
