Dear WO List,

We need to establish communications between webobjects and a java applet in the most basic form; that is: without Direct to Web, Client-side EOF, and widgets.

The server just needs to send a string to an applet and then receive a response string back.

In the past there used to be (and we used it): SimpleAssociationDestination, but this appears to be gone since WO4.5.

What is the best way to do this with WO 5.2.3 and SSL without too much clutter.
