Alternatively, if you need to get your work done right now with the tools you've got (instead of fiddling with "the solution to all problems known to mankind"), click onto the project name at the top of the left pane, click Command-I to get the info window, go to the "Code Sense" tab and click "Rebuild Index". Afterwards, it should work again. (If you don't need CodeSense and Indexing, you can deactivate all the checkboxes in this tab).
