browser doesn't open

All
my WebObjects projects won’t open in the browser during the build and
run. I’m running on an e-Mac
machine, OS X. When compiling, the applications
go through the screens showing all the threads and then hangs up with the last
line that say “Waiting for request” but the application doesn’t
appear in the browser unless I cut and paste the url. They were all
working fine about a week ago.
My html pages open when I double click on them in Finder. If I open Safari
first my applications still don’t open. Does anyone know if
there is some setting that I need to set that might of got corrupted?
