I have two entities.

FileCollection and File. File has a to-one relationship to FileCollection that is mandatory.

When I try to delete an existing File EO, I get a ValidationException stating that filecollection is a mandatory relationship...

I should be able to delete it w/o trouble, no? The action on deletion is set to nullify.

I searched the archives and found this exchange between Chuck Hill and Jonathan Rochkind that mentions a very similar situation: http://lists.apple.com/archives/webobjects-dev/2003/Oct/msg00306.html

I don't see a resolution in that thread. Anyone have an idea what could be going on here?
