I have written a text component to display a string as plain text so I

Windows does not handle the Unix newlines properly because Windows
uses CRLF for its line endings and a simple newline means nothing to
IE. Since most entries will be made on Linux machines and many users
view the entries using IE on Windows this is an issue. Is there a way
to force IE to interpret Unix newlines as they were intended?
