It's been a while since YellowBox coding but...

Validate Immediately was the difference between calling EOF validation when exiting the field or delaying until a call to saveChanges().

Fetch on load IIRC did a fetch when a window was created / shown.

Refresh All is, I think, new. It probably calls the related methods in EOEditingContext.
