Thanks Uli, that was the problem. I had opened up every plist (about 500) to make sure one of them wasn't corrupted.

This is the only document open and no other applications that rely on EOF are open. I have tried opening the document via double clicking in the finder, opening from within EOModeler and by double clicking index.eomodeld in the wrapper. I trashed the preferences, but still have this issue.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?
