Xcode isn't written in java as far as i know. How would you get it
to run on a PC under any OS directly? Its not compiled for the
processor architecture and you don't have the support libraries
(Cocoa). If you had the source code and lots of time, maybe you
could get it to run under GNUStep. :)
It might be possible to run it under pearpc (a PowerPC G3 mac
emulator), but i doubt its legal to do so. Last I knew, the license
for OSX required it to run on apple hardware.
As for deployment on linux, apple doesn't support running it on
anything but OSX now. You can deploy it as a war file on a app
server or tomcat though. I think project wonder has adapter code for
unix platforms to get it to run more natively with apache.
