Try doing super.appendToResponse last!

aResponse.setHeader ("application/csv", "content-type");
aResponse.setHeader ("filename=excel_file.csv", "content-disposition");

super.appendToResponse(aResponse, aContext);
}

I think your code snippet can't work.
