Don't understand mixing Static and dynamic client components

Hi,

I've been fighting with Direct to Java client for a while. I've got my basic rule-based D2JC app working, and now I'd like to customise it by adding a static form (.nib). I've worked through the instructions in Apple's documentation (which I find very confusing), but can't get my form to appear in the client.

I'm sure it must be something simple...

If I understand correctly, the "custom class" of the "files owner" of the nib file must be a subclass of EOFormController (or EOQueryController as appropriate), and there should be a rule in the d2w.d2wmodel file to load the nib file in preference to generating the form automatically.

I'm using WebObjects 5.3.1, XCode, 2.2, Java 1.5.

Does anyone know that the trick is here, please?

TIA

Jarvis
