So... If images are being stored in the database as opposed to the
file system, what would be the celling for the image size?

I have always been a supporter of the large images being stored on a
file system and pointed to through DB. This discussion caught my
attention, however.

The reason is that I am involved in the development of the digital
asset management system, a WO project with the MySQL as a DB. We need
to store the high resolution images (30Mb - 100 Mb), and allow the
users to download them.

Just curious if anybody on this list had to deal with the sizes like that.

Thanks,
Alex
