Does anyone know where this html file is stored
HTML file?!!? WebObjects generates dynamic HTML! :-) That message,
IIRC, is generated from wotaskd.
and how I can replace it with something more user friendly when an
app goes down?
Aside from the obvious running multiple instances to avoid this, try
the Redirection URL found on the application (not instance!)
configuration page under Load Balancing and Adaptor Settings. "If an
instance fails to respond to a direct request, this is the URL that
the client is redirected to." I think that does what you are after.
Check out the Help tab in Java Monitor, lots of useful info there.
