Either way, you'll pick up the basics of this following the tutorial.
For more advanced concepts see the links from my previous post and buy
Practical WebObjects (search Amazon - but it's not necessarily for
NewBie's. Perhaps 'buying' Java for WebObjects Developers and Practical
WebObjects would be a good bet).

from my own experience (using WO for 6 mo) :

I started WO newbie 1.0 , reading 'Webobjects for Mac OS X ' (Joshua Marker)
then small upgrade (WO newbie 1.1) reading Building WebObjects Application' (Jesse Feiler)

then major upgrade (WO Newbie 2.0) reading WebObjects Developer's Guide (Ravi Mendis)
then minor upgrade (WO Newbie 2.1) reading 'Professional WebObjects 5.0 with Java' (Wrox...)

and finally I 'graduated' with (WO newbie 3.0) readin many times (still reading it.... and learning)
'Practical WebObjects' (Chuck and Sacha)

the more I read (and test) the more I learn....

Erwin
