Oh that is a nice little find DBEdit. However, it too hangs on data retrieval and give me various
incoherent messages such as:

adaptorValueByConvertingAttributeValue: -- EOAttribute 0x972a880: unable to convert value of class NSCFString for attribute type in entity TOSFaqUser to adaptor type EOAdaptorBytesType

For my setup I am using:

a driver: com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver

no plug in.. what is a plugin?

Try DBEdit from rubicode.com see if that works. Does it throw any
exceptions? Maybe it isn't seeing the database drivers or something. Does it
need a JDBCAdaptor plugin?

Hello -

I am trying to work a bit with EOModeler and DB2.

I can get EOModeler to connect to DB2 and even create a database schema
via the SQL feature. However, when I try to "access" the data with the
data
viewer it kills EOModeler. In addition I can't seem to read data from
the database
via a simple D2W application based upon the model.

Any thoughts?
