File storage issue

Hey.

I've been going through some examples and tutorials on how to use WOFileUpload. It works fine if I store the file somewhere in the file system when submitting. However one tutorial says that it should store the file data in the database as a BLOB, and I can not get that result.

I am using the latest version of OpenBase (on a free license) and have tried storing the data using both "binary" and "object" data types. Neither stored the actual data (they were represented as NSData in the app), but just a couple of hex digits. It all worked fine however, as long as I had the files I had "uploaded" files stored in the file system.

Is there a way to store the actual file data in the database, regardless of size and type?

Thanks
Florijan
