EOGenerator causing character set problems?

  • Subject: EOGenerator causing character set problems?

Hello all!

I was having trouble yesterday with my keyboard suddenly (and repeatedly) switched from English to Greek when I wasn't expecting it to do so, particularly since all the keyboard layouts except U.S. English are turned off. This morning, I switched to my backup boot partition, and I haven't had any problems all day. I couldn't figure out what was different between the two until I realized EOGenerator had been added to the then-primary boot partition. Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone know how I might be able to fix or work around this issue, preferably without compiling EOGenerator from the source?

--NCH

PS: I'm using the pre-compiled version 1.5 on a PowerBook G4 (17") running Mac OS X 10.3.7, if anyone cares.
