This looks bad:
/System/Library/WebObjects/JavaApplications/wotaskd.woa/Contents/
Resources/javawoservice.sh: line 285: 792 Segmentation fault
I don't know where that seg fault is coming from, but this does not
look to be a classpath issue or something wrong passed to the JVM. Seg
faults come from native code, not Java. Will other WO apps start
(JavaMonitor, your apps)? Looks to me like it could be a corrupt JVM.

Hi,
This morning I upgraded one of our WO servers to 10.3.8 from 10.3.7.
Since doing so, wotaskd won't start. Here is what it is writing to the
WebObjects.log file:
javawoservice.sh: `wotaskd' is starting up ...
/System/Library/WebObjects/JavaApplications/wotaskd.woa/Contents/
Resources/javawoservice.sh: line 285: 792 Segmentation fault
$APP_PATH $APP_ARGS 2>&1 >/dev/null
javawoservice.sh: `wotaskd' exited.
. `wotaskd' terminated with an error (`139'). Scaling wait time ...
. Execution not counted as a success.
javawoservice.sh: `wotaskd' will restart in 640 seconds ...
I know that the upgrade stomped on preferences files because my
AppleTalk
routing preferences in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/
peferences.plist got overwritten. But I cannot figure this one out.

P.S. I already sent this to deployment, but no takers there.
