I don't think the problem has anything to do with eclipse/wolips. Look at
http://www.tetlabors.de/wo/setup_webobjects_on_windows.html. Pay attention
to the "Post WO installation steps" section and "WinXP Fast User Switching".
I had the same problem and these tricks solved it.

Subject: WO components (Project Builder,WOBuilder EOModeler etc) refuse to
start up
I am having serious trouble with WO (5.2). I recently installed WO 5.2. on
WindowsXP and everything worked just fine. I started working and finished my
first project and still everything
was great. Then I installed Eclipse and WOLips and still things seemed to
be functioning (at least EOModeler and WOBuilder, which are the 2 components
I need the most for my work).
Then all of a sudden everything stopped working. The splash screen for each
application displays, and then everything freezes.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and even deleted everything from
both my hard disk and the registry (as well as uninstalling). I get an
error when I try to uninstall
Developer tools, catastrophic error.
This happens as well, when I run remove from the installer. Besides that,
some files og registry entries are hiding from me, so I cannot remove them.
I know this for a fact because
I do not need to enter the serial no again, and the options in the installer
are Modify, Repair and Remove.
Are there any compatibility issues between eclipse/wolips and WO 5.2
