Well, I checked the code and I couldn't find anything, which didn't
surprise me because almost all of it was generated by WOBuilder. (I
had set the key that was causing the problem to default to false, but
that's about it.) Lacking a better idea, I did a clean re-install of
the OS, and it seems to be working fine. I remain...

As much as I dislike xCode and as much time as it has cost me due to
its bizarre quirks of caching, I don't think that xCode is your
problem either. I've had this happen in WOLips/Eclipse too and every
single time it was either that something had not got rebuilt (dummy me
forgot to build) or I typed something wrong. In your case I am almost
certain that you have typed something wrong or missed part of the
code, you have done enough cleaning to thoroughly eliminate the
possibility of a bad build.
Go back again, read the error message. Read it again. And again.
Carefully. Now look at your code, carefully. As Art said, are you
looking in the right class, the one named in the error message? Check
your typing. Missing a letter? Have two transposed? Pressed Shift
by mistake? The answer is there somewhere.

Well, I finally wound up deleting the Main component, quitting the
developer apps, deleting the build files, restarting my computer,
leaving it alone overnight, and re-creating Main from scratch. And
what do I get for my trouble? The same thing happened! I'm
becoming rather frustrated, and I have absolutely no idea what to do
next.
The error was in TabsForShows, not Main, so that's where I'd
concentrate my attention.
Well, I have one idea ... I think. Do you think, Chuck, that
switching to WOLips and Eclipse is likely to solve the problem?
This is a run-time error, so I doubt that changing the IDE would
help.

Art
