Hi Helen,

Tab ordering through form elements is controlled by a combination of the browser and the OS. What browser and OS are you encountering this problem with?

If I remember correctly, for Safari you do need to turn on full keyboard access in the System Preferences > Keyboard pane in order to be able to tab through pull-down lists and other form elements. Tabbing is also not supported in older versions of Safari.

Tabbing through form elements should work out of the box in IE on the Mac. The same is true for most browsers on Windows.

I hope that helps,

Colin

Hi, All:

This is not a WebObjects question, but I think you may have the solution for our problem.

In one of our WebObjects applications, there is a form asking user to fill out. When user clicks 'tab' button on the keyboard, the next form element is focused, which is right for the text box but selection( drop down list ) and radio buttons are just skipped. Is there anyone who can tell how the selection and radio button can get the focusing when clicking the tab button?

Thanks in advance!

Helen
