Help with StackOverflowError

Hello.

We have a WebObjects application that is deployed at several sites using OSX 10.2, java 1.3.1, and WO 5.2.2.
These are our older sites.

Our newer sites are running OSX 10.3, a newer version of java, and WO 5.2.3.
These newer sites are running the same build of our application as the older sites, but seem to get StackOverflowError errors all over the place, while the older sites do not.

My question is, did something change in WO or java that would cause StackOverflowError errors? Im having trouble tracking this problem down.

Below is a sample stack trace. No matter where in the code we get this error, a similar trace is produced.
