I had this problem just the other day. It turned out that if I Zipped the framework and FTP'd it over the folder aliais of the frameworks wouldn't get recognized as such and so things broke.
I ended up turning on Windows file sharing and pulling the framework down onto the Windows box that way.

The page is now empty and it won't load? Is there a change that the jar containing Main.class is missing / damaged / empty?

Jeff,

the components are looking good, Commenting the dynamic parts out also did not help, I do not get the Main component at all, the app is stuck after the exception.

Ralph,
Are the Windows versions of the .wod, .html files in good shape--not corrupted? I've seen this error (and the blank page in the app) when these files somehow get trashed during the move from one box to another.

Hi there,

we have just done what we did several times before: compile a framework and an application with XCode, throw it onto a Windows 2003 machine and install / run it there.

This has worked fine in the past with the same setup (Java 1.4.2 / WO 5.2.3 on both machines).

However, this time it didn't. We have an app that runs fine on the Mac and throws the exception below when run on Windows.

Is there anything obvious I might have overlooked?

Before copying the .woa and the .framework over to the Windows machine, we pack it into a JAR and unjar it again on Windows.

As I said, this has worked every time before. This time, we get the following Exception - the Main component is not displayed and the app just sits there.

Any help? Thanks,

Ralph Scheuer
