Formatters, dates and allowsNaturalLanguage?

The older versions of WO with NSGregorianDateFormatter had a great feature for allowing natural language usage when entering dates. Not only did it allow for entries such as "today" and "yesterday" but it allowed for flexible formatting of dates/times, such as "01/25 8pm" or "Jan 5th" - both just as valid as "01/25/2005 08:00PM EST".

Is anyone aware of such implementation with the current version of WO? Are there any alternatives out there? I have been unable to locate it in the current API.
