Can anyone give me a brief example on data retrieving?

It sounds like you haven't found Apple's documentation yet. Start with the WebObjects Web Applications tutorial:

http://developer.apple.com/documentation/WebObjects/Web_Applications/

Data input is covered in Chapter 5, Managing User Input. Database basics are covered in Chapter 8-10.

zak.

I have a table/entity name "T_TEST" with 2 attributes namely "myID","myValue"
in my WO form i have 2 woString and 1 submit button
woString is bound by "keyID","keyResult"
the "keyID" is where the user input an id and "keyResult" is where the value of the "keyID" is displayed ( where "myValue" is the value )
say i have this data in my table
"myID" | "myValue"
-------------+------------------
1 | value1
2 | value2
if Im going to input "2" on the woString and hit the enter then "value2" will be displayed on the "keyResult" which is bound by anothere woString.
an example code is greatly appriciated...
many thanks...
