Hi,
That's exactly the thought I had. Something like
<div style='position:absolute;top:50em;left:5em'><form>Lots of lame
checkboxes</form></div>
<div style='whatever makes sense to overlap the other one'><form>search
fields</form></div>
Now, if you client says that you need to be compatible with NS3 or IE4
then tell him to take a hike :-)

Hi...
To be honest I don't know much about html, but I had a thought and
maybe you can do something with it. Please people don't beat me over
the head if this is complete nonsense...
Using layers. So, have the html code in two separate forms, and in two
separate layers. But in the checkbox saturated form leave a lot of
space empty, and then make the layer with the other form render over
it (in the empty space). So, you actually end up with two perfectly
normal forms that only look embedded. Is that possible?
Cheers
Flor
besides that it looks pretty bad... fire your employer :)
